Kragnes intersection to become four-way stopKRAGNES, Minn. – The intersection of Clay County Road 26 and Highway 75 here will be converted from a two-way stop to a four-way stop to improve safety.
Work on the conversion is expected to be completed today, weather permitting.
Northbound and southbound Highway 75 traffic will be required to stop at the intersection. Rumble strips have been added to Highway 75 and new stop signs and stop-ahead signs with enhanced flashing lights will be installed.
Temporary message boards ahead of the intersection will also alert motorists while they become accustomed to the change.
Pavement markings to Highway 75 will be added at a later date as weather permits.
