Leon Russell, Yelawolf, more add April dates in FargoFargo-based promoter Jade Presents announced a string of April shows in town that include a member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, an Alabama rap-per, a bluegrass band and an alt-country act.
Pianist/singer Leon Russell takes the stage at the Fargo Theatre on April 11. The honky-tonker is known for “A Song for You” and his duet on “Heartbreak Hotel” with Willie Nelson. In 2010 he had a hit album with Elton John, “The Union.” The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $35.
Alabama rapper Yelawolf plays the Venue at the Hub on April 6. His last album, “Radioactive,” includes appearances from Lil' John on “Hard White (Up in the Club)” and Kid Rock on “Let’s Roll.” Music starts at 8 p.m. with tickets for $20 in advance and $23 the day of.
Bluegrass pickers the Infamous Stringdusters play the Aquarium on April 25. The group’s song “Magic #9” was nominated for a Best Country Instrumental Grammy in 2011. Music starts at 10 p.m. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 the day-of-show.
Country-influenced Indie rockers Murder by Death return to the Aquarium on April 4. Music starts at 10 p.m. with advance tickets for $10, or $12 for day-of-show.
