TRADE TALK: Rhombus Guys plans rooftop dining
In recent days, the owners of the downtown Fargo business met with an architect to talk about a rooftop dining area.
Rhombus Guys manager Ian Dickmeyer said it is too early to say when the lofty plan will fall into place, only that it’s hoped the feature will be available this year.
For those eager to know when they can start dining in high style, Dickmeyer suggested people periodically take a peek at the business’s page on Facebook, or follow the business on Twitter.
Rhombus Guys is at 606 Main Ave. in Fargo.
The phone number is (701) 540-4534.
The Professional Hair Design Studio – also known as PhD – opened last summer in the Memorial Union of North Dakota State University, but it has just now finished a complete remodel that was celebrated with a grand opening.
The studio caters to students, faculty and staff, as well as to both men and women, said owner Mary Klier.
For men, that means straight-razor shaves are available like those offered in barbershops of old, Klier said.
PhD hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Focusing on fat
Slim Ambition Cold Laser Body Sculpting has opened in Fargo at 4501 15th Ave. S.
The business features iLipo equipment recently featured on ABC’s “The Doctors.” It helps target and reduce fatty areas on bodies.
There will be a grand opening through Sunday, and visitors can tour the facility and learn more about the treatments.

New business strip
A large commercial structure is going up at 2553 53rd Ave. S. in Fargo.
The building will have room for seven to eight tenants, said Mark Speral of Helenske Design Group, which designed the building and is the general contractor for the project.
Speral said it is anticipated the building will be ready for tenants by early April.
