Cass high schools in ‘Lifesmarts’ finalsBISMARCK – Teams from Northern Cass and Central Cass high schools are among the finalists in the annual “Lifesmarts” state finals today at the state Capitol building.
The competition tests students in grades 9-12 about personal finance, health and safety, the environment, technology, and consumer rights and responsibilities. It is hosted by the consumer protection division of the state attorney general’s office.
Other teams competing in the 15th annual event are Burke Central, Milnor, Ray, and two teams each from Jamestown, Medina and New England, the attorney general’s office announced Tuesday.
Sponsors include Gate City Bank, North Dakota Securities Education Fund, Capital Electric Cooperative, North Dakota Association of Rural Electric Cooperatives, North Dakota National Guard, and Capital Trophy.
