Valley City man charged with business burglariesVALLEY CITY, N.D. – A 29-year-old Valley City man has been charged in connection with a rash of business burglaries here in the past few weeks.
Corey Koebernick was charged Friday with three counts of felony burglary, felony possession of stolen property and three related misdemeanor charges for incidents occurring between Jan. 24 and Feb. 2.
Valley City Interim Police Chief Mark McDonald said police believe Koebernick is responsible for burglaries at C H Carpenter Lumber Co., Picks & Pins Beauty Salon and Valley Drug.
Police are investigating whether Koebernick may be tied to two additional burglaries, McDonald said.
Bail was set at $50,000 cash. His next court appearance is set for Feb. 21.
