Hard spring wheat show set in Williston this weekWILLISTON, N.D. — Wheat — not oil — is the subject of a big convention getting under way in Williston.
The 59th National Hard Spring Wheat Show is Monday through Wednesday at the Airport International Inn. Among the keynote speakers are Texas A&M University economist Danny Klinefelter and Ohio State University researcher James Hoorman.
North Dakota Wheat Commission marketing director Jim Peterson and The Money Farm President Mike Krueger will discuss commodity market issues.
Other topics range from satellite navigation to a weather outlook for the upcoming growing season.
