Trade Talk: Three Fargo Quizno’s up for sale
The three are owned by Tricia and Kelly Seckerson of Jamestown, N.D., who also operate a Quizno’s in that city.
“We’re looking to sell here (in Fargo), so we can focus on our family,” said Tricia Seckerson, who with her husband operates Fargo sites at 3001 13th Ave. S., 3003 32nd Ave. S. and 1100 19th Ave. N.
A Quizno’s at 4501 15th Ave. S. in Fargo is owned by Cory Rogne.
No major changes are contemplated for that site in the near future, said Katie Berg, store manager.
Tricia Seckerson said the decision to sell her family’s Fargo restaurants had nothing to do with recent news reports that the Quizno’s corporation on a national level had been facing possible bankruptcy.
Subsequent reports indicate that the company found a way to deal with its debt problems without filing for bankruptcy.
A number of local Quizno’s have closed recently, including one in south Moorhead and one on Main Avenue in Fargo.
Moorhead Public Service has issued $54,601 in rebates to Busch Agricultural Resources Inc. for electrical improvements the company made that will save energy and money.
As part of Moorhead Public Service’s Bright Energy Solutions program, Busch Agricultural Resources upgraded several of its dryer fan motors, a move that will save the plant nearly 2 million kilowatt hours per year.
The conservation program encourages residents and commercial businesses to make improvements that will result in more energy efficient homes and buildings.

DSG acquires firm
Fargo-based Dakota Supply Group has acquired Wisconsin-based W.A. Roosevelt, a distributor of plumbing, electrical, HVAC and refrigeration products.
W.A. Roosevelt will retain its name and staff while becoming a division of DSG.
The change will add Wisconsin and northern Michigan to DSG’s service area, which now covers Minnesota, South Dakota and North Dakota, as well as parts of Iowa, Wyoming and Montana.
Started in 1898, DSG is an employee-owned company that distributes electrical, plumbing, HVAC, communications, utility, metering technology, automation, and waterworks products.
