West Fargo, Carrington win state dance titles

Grand Forks - West Fargo won two Class A championships while Carrington won all four Class B titles at last weekend’s North Dakota Association of Dance and Drill state competition at the Alerus Center.

In the Class A varsity division, West Fargo won the high kick and pom categories. West Fargo placed second in the jazz category.

In the Class B varsity division, Carrington won the jazz, high kick, pom and hip hop categories.

High kick: 1, Carrington. 2, Hazen. 3, Garrison.

Pom: 1, Carrington. 2, Kindred. 3, Minot Ryan. 4, Underwood. 5, Hazen.

Hip hop: 1, Carrington. 2, Hazen. 3, Kindred. 4, Beulah. 5, Thompson. 6, Larimore.
