Burfeind's 22 points help Cardinals past Cobbers

WINONA, Minn. – St. Mary’s Michael Burfeind scored a game-high 22 points to lead the Cardinals to a 64-60 victory over Concordia on Monday in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men’s basketball game.

Evan Pederson and Tom Gores each added 10 points for the Cardinals (4-15, 4-10 MIAC while Pat Freemand posted 14 points and 11 rebounds.

The Cobbers (7-12, 5-9) were led by Jason Huus’ 17 points while Brandon Fisher added 15 points and nine rebounds.
