Sorensen's layup lifts Cobbers to overtime win

WINONA, Minn. – Tricia Sorensen made a layup with just over 20 seconds remaining in overtime to provide the go-ahead points and lift Concordia to a 60-59 win over St. Mary’s in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference women’s basketball Sunday.

Sorensen finished with 16 points and nine rebounds with Emily Thesing chipping in with 14 points and nine boards for the Cobbers.

Concordia outrebounded the Cardinals 43-32.
