Fargo man accused of sexual abuseFARGO – Charges were filed in Cass County District Court Friday against a 21-year-old Fargo man accused of committing sex crimes against two girls under the age of 15.
Frederick Wayne Archdale faces up to 60 years in prison and a $30,000 fine if convicted of three Class A felonies of gross sexual imposition.
According to the criminal complaint against him, police were notified Thursday that Archdale and a 7-year-old acquaintance had been found together with both their pants down.
After further investigation, the girl told police the man had made sexual contact and committed sexual acts with her on several other occasions, police reports say.
In a separate interview, the younger girl’s nine-year-old sister also told police Archdale had committed sexual acts with her on several occasions, documents allege.
Archdale is scheduled to make his first appearance in court on Feb. 23.
