Moorhead man found guilty in rape trial sentenced to 12 years in prisonMOORHEAD – A 21-year-old Moorhead man convicted of raping a woman July 30 was sentenced to 12 years in prison Monday in Clay County District Court.
Christopher Donique Williams was convicted in December of forcing the woman into her own apartment, threatening her with a box cutter and scissors and sexually assaulting her twice.
He was convicted of eight felony charges, including two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.
In the sentence handed down by Judge Lisa Borgen, Williams got credit for 169 days served and can be conditionally released from prison after 10 years.
