Security review ordered for Fergus Falls drug treatment centerFERGUS FALLS, Minn. (AP) — A security review has been ordered at one of the state's drug treatment facilities following the arrest of a patient accused of receiving drugs hidden in packages.
Authorities say five female patients at the Fergus Falls facility have tested positive for illegal drugs in recent weeks. One woman is hospitalized after a drug overdose that left her in a coma.
Fergus Falls police say three additional suspects are being held in other county jails in connection with a heroin smuggling operation at Community Addiction Recovery Enterprise or CARE. Arrest warrants have been issued for two people in the Twin Cities.
The Star Tribune says 33-year-old Rachel Campbell is being held in the Otter Tail County Jail and is charged with selling or bartering drugs to fellow patients.
