Appalling plea deal is disgusting‘Fargo surgeon strikes plea deal.”
I was appalled and disgusted when I read the article about Dr. Jon Norberg in Wednesday’s (Jan. 4) edition of The Forum. He stated that propofol was a good and safe drug but that he didn’t think he could convince a jury of that, and therefore he was able to plea bargain his way out of a fitting punishment.
Was it missed by the prosecutor that he administered propofol 32 times to his victim? I think the prosecutor really dropped the ball by allowing him to get away with this crime with nothing more than a divorce. Who is going to take the blame if his license is reinstated and he strikes again?
