Fargo man turns woodworking hobby into business

Couple opens studio for area woodworkers to work on projects

FARGO – After Jim Clapper retired, he decided to go with the grain and make his hobby his new career. Clapper and his wife, Ann, will open DIY Wood Studio today in Fargo. The business is a membership-based workshop that will allow craftsmen of all types to lease space for woodworking.
