Thursday review: Hair dryer is fast, effective
This Centrix Q-Zone Dryer uses ionic tourmaline technology to allow for a faster blow dry and to create shiny and frizz-free hair. An ionic dryer essentially sends ions toward your hair to quickly break down the water molecules there and cause them to be absorbed into the hair. This results in that gloss and shine and the potential to say goodbye to that other time-draining device, the hair straightener.
This dryer also features its “IQ,” or Insanely Quiet patent-pending technology. Most driers on the market have a loud pitch, but this one emits an easy-on-the-ears hum. One website indicates that its volume is just above 70 decibels, which while loud, falls only 10 decibels short of conversational speech.
The Centrix Q-Zone Dryer features three heat settings, two speeds, and a cold-shot button. It also comes with an 8-foot-long cord (a typical home dryer cord is about 6 feet) that provides a little extra length to walk out in the hallway and ensure the kids are doing what they are supposed to be doing.
If they are, the Centrix Q-Zone dryer has just provided another way to cut down on that morning routine time. The Centrix Q-Zone dryer, made by Cricket Company, is $124.95 through dermstore.com.
