Couple dies in northern Minn. house fireCOHASSET, Minn. — Authorities continue investigating but believe a house fire that killed a husband and wife in Cohasset was electrical.
Authorities were called to the fire around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday and found heavy smoke and flames coming from the house.
Firefighters found two victims dead inside the home while trying to contain the blaze. Itasca County Sheriff Vic Williams identifies the victims as 56-year-old Linda Marie Lumley and her 49-year-old husband, Harold Raymond Lumley.
Chief Deputy Gregg Deutsch says the couple's three dogs also died in the fire.
The Minnesota State Fire Marshal's office and the Itasca County sheriff's office are investigating.
