Man accused of hitting partygoer with truckMOORHEAD – A 35-year-old Barnesville man is charged with second-degree assault and first-degree drunken driving in Clay County District Court after allegedly hitting another man with a truck.
Court documents allege that following an altercation at a party in rural Barnesville on Nov. 5, an intoxicated Jarid Bruce Thorson hit a man with his truck, dragging him for several feet.
According to court documents, the victim’s leg was injured, but he did not require medical attention.
Thorson faces three charges, including two felonies.
