Gun-pointing incident leads to four arrests

ALEXANDRIA, Minn. – Four people were arrested here Monday after a gun-pointing incident on Interstate 94.

According to the State Patrol, at 4:48 p.m., a motorist reported seeing another vehicle with a person pointing a gun at others on the freeway.

It was also reported that one of the people in the green Chevrolet Cavalier was wearing a ski mask.

The incident happened about 10 miles east of Alexandria on I-94.

The State Patrol and Alexandria Police Department stopped the vehicle a short time later near the intersection of Broadway Street and 10th Avenue South in Alexandria.

An air-powered handgun, cap gun and mask were found in the vehicle. Four adult males were taken into custody and booked into Douglas County Jail.
