Fargo stabbing incident appears to be drug-relatedFARGO – An incident that sent two men to the hospital with multiple stab wounds Saturday night appears to be drug-related, Lt. Joel Vettel said Monday.
One of the victims has been released from Essentia Health, Vettel said. The other victim remains at the hospital; his condition and the extent of his injuries are unknown.
Vettel said officers were dispatched to Essentia around 9:30 p.m. after the two men sought medical treatment for multiple stab wounds.
One of the victims is in his late teens, the other in his early 20s.
Their identities have not been made public.
Police investigation led officers to the 3100 block of 33rd Street South, where authorities believe the stabbings occurred.
No arrests have been made, but Vettel said Monday that police believe there are multiple suspects and that all of the parties involved knew each other.
Investigators are continuing to conduct interviews to determine what happened, he said.
“It looks to be probably drug-related,” he said.
