Grafton man accused of sexually abusing three girls reaches plea dealGRAFTON, N.D. (AP) — A Grafton man accused of sexually abusing three girls in two homes over a span of 23 years has pleaded guilty to three counts of gross sexual imposition.
The Grand Forks Herald reports that 65-year-old DuWayne Glende reached a plea agreement with prosecutors under which he will serve a total of 20 years behind bars and on supervised probation. A judge must approve.
Glende initially was charged with a dozen GSI counts. Authorities say the girls were between 9 and 13 years old.
