Fargo Star is back
And if it seems early for The Forum’s annual singing showcase, that’s because it is.
In the past, we’ve waited until January to start this contest that recognizes the best amateur singer in the Fargo-Moorhead area. But this year, we’re moving things up to accommodate the Fargo Star finals, which will be held at The Venue at The Hub on Feb. 25.
What that means for right now is that we’ve started accepting submission for singers.
So if you can sing, and if you think you deserve to be the next Fargo Star, we need you to send us a video clip of you singing. You can sing a cappella or with a backing track. And you can do it solo or with instrumental accompaniment. You can be any age, and you can sing any genre of music. We just won’t accept songs with offensive or lewd language.
Once you have the video, upload it to YouTube and send us a link, or send the actual video to us at FargoStar@forumcomm.
If you need help recording a video, we’ll soon be announcing recording sessions at The Forum and at Divas and Rockstars.
In the meantime, pick out your song, perfect your look and start dreaming about becoming the next Fargo Star.
