Northern St. tops MSUM on the road in football

MOORHEAD – Northern State University’s quarterback Jared Jacobson threw for 160 yards and two touchdowns and picked up 154 more yards rushing as the Wolves beat Minnesota State University Moorhead 42-21 on Saturday in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference football game.

MSUM’s Kevin Koch led the Dragons (4-6, 3-6 NSIC), throwing 25-for-50 and accumulating 271 total offensive yards.

Kendal Hendon caught eight of those passes for 132 yards.

Northern State rushed for 304 total yards.
