Fugitive Focus: Shawn Elizabeth Neidecker
Local and federal authorities are seeking to apprehend a 46-year-old Fargo woman who allegedly punched her friend unconscious after a drunken argument over an ex-boyfriend.
Shawn Elizabeth Neidecker was charged with aggravated assault in Cass County District Court this month for an incident that took place Sept. 20.
According to a Fargo police report:
The female victim reported Neidecker had “assaulted and terrorized” her after a dispute at Neidecker’s home.
The women had been drinking, and Neidecker initially accused the friend of sleeping with her ex-boyfriend, which the friend denied.
Neidecker grew suspicious and became “very angry” a short while later after the friend was sending text messages.
Neidecker reportedly grew aggressive, and when the friend tried to walk away, Neidecker allegedly punched her in the left eye and temple area.
The victim told police she woke up with Neidecker on top of her, with Neidecker’s arm across her throat.
The victim was able to escape and call police.
When questioned by authorities, Neidecker denied the dispute happened and said she was defending herself against her friend’s aggression.
A warrant for Neidecker’s arrest was issued Oct. 20, court records show.
