Trade Talk: Swanson Health Products grows spaceSwanson Health Products, 109 Broadway, has completed an expansion project that doubled its floor space.
The expansion involved knocking down a wall and extending the store into space formerly occupied by 109 Consign, which in turn moved just down the block.
The change has worked out well for both businesses, said Joanne Audette, store manager for Swanson Health Products.
“They (109 Consign) are now called 109 Consign at 117 Broadway, and we like that,” Audette said, adding that the additional room at Swanson Health makes it easier for customers to appreciate everything the store offers.
“I’ve had customers who shop here regularly and they say, ‘Where did you get all these groceries?’ ” Audette said.
“Our customers are delighted; that’s the most fun part of it,” she added.

RehabAuthority Physical Therapy recently opened its doors at 3170 43rd St. S., Suite 101, in Fargo.
The outpatient, private-practice physical therapy clinic is owned and operated by Chris Kraemer and Eldon Johnson, who combined have 30 years of experience in general orthopedics and sports medicine.
Kraemer said the clinic prides itself on making things easy for clients, including putting parking near the clinic door and providing assistance in handling insurance.
He said many people may not realize they don’t need to be referred by a physician to receive help at the clinic, which offers MedX technology.
Kraemer described the latter as state-of-the-art computerized spinal strength, endurance and range of motion testing for the lower back and neck.
“Our mission statement is simple,” he said. “We solve back and neck problems.”
