North Dakota state boys soccer: Bismarck Century defeats Fargo DaviesMANDAN, N.D. – Bismarck Century boys soccer coach Joel Jahnke said he challenged forward Alec Rauhauser to come up with a big game.
The junior responded. Often.
Rauhauser scored three goals to help the Patriots to a convincing 5-0 victory against Fargo Davies during the first round of the North Dakota state boys soccer tournament Thursday at Dakotah Centennial Park.
“He takes challenges well,” Jahnke said. “He’s got a lot of potential, and he’s a great, physical athlete. Before the game we put some challenge on him to score some goals. He gets himself in the right position. Today he put some goals away.”
