Moorhead High names homecoming royalty

MOORHEAD – Moorhead High School named this year’s homecoming king and queen in a ceremony on Monday.

Homecoming queen is Heidi Erickson, daughter of Jeanne and Chuck Erickson. Homecoming king is Ryan Olson, son of Dennis and Sherry Olson.

Other members of the homecoming court are:

Abby Altenbernd, daughter of Larry and Val Altenbernd; Lauren Funk, daughter of Brian and Beth Funk; Sarah Gerber, daughter of Brent and Jennifer Gerber; Maggie Gulsvig, daughter of Chuck and Dar Gulsvig; Morgan Holm, daughter of Michael and Stephanie Holm; Rylee Krabbenhoft, daughter of Siri and Mike Anhorn and David Krabbenhoft; Katie Rosenfeldt, daughter of Dan and Julie Rosenfeldt; Abby Tietz, daughter of Deb and Craig Tietz; Stephanie Ussatis, daughter of Jeff and Deb Ussatis; Jason Blanshan, son of Mark and Rebecca Blanshan; Camden Bosche, son of Kevin and Kari Bosche; Bryant Christian, son of Eddie and Lisa Christian; Erik Bye, son of Rob and Jana Bye; Jacob Geraghty, son of Tom and Shelly Geraghty; Jesse Doschadis, son of Dan and Teri Doschadis and Chuck and Kim Larson; Danny Paulson, son of Dan and Denise Paulson; Crosby Steen, son of Laurie and Doug Neill and Terry Steen and Laura McDaniel; and Jake Uglem, son of Tim and Deb Uglem.

The homecoming parade begins at 4 p.m. Friday. Parade entries will line up at Minnesota State Community and Technical College and go north on 20th Street South from 24th Avenue to Sixth Avenue.

The football game will start 7 p.m. Friday against Fergus Falls at Moorhead High’s Jim Gotta Stadium.

The homecoming dance is at 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the high school.

The school’s Hall of Honor induction ceremony will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Meadows Golf Course here.
