Teenager injured in rear-end crashBRECKENRIDGE, Minn. – A teenage girl was taken to the hospital with injuries after rear-ending a pickup truck near here Tuesday.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol:
A pickup driven by Mikkel Jensen, 22, of Breckenridge was eastbound on U.S. Highway 210. Jensen stopped to make a left-hand turn and was rear-ended by a car driven by Taylor Hought, 17, of Foxhome.
The accident happened around 6:45 p.m.
Hought was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Breckenridge by ambulance to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Hought was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
Jensen was not injured.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the accident.
