Man's body recovered from St. Louis RiverCARLTON, Minn. (AP) — The body of a 24-year-old man has been recovered from the St. Louis River in Carlton County.
A 911 caller reported the man was swept away in the river near Jay Cooke State Park about 5 p.m. Monday. The sheriff's department says the man's body was recovered about three hours later in 8 to 10 feet of water.
WDIO-TV says the man has not been identified.
The Carlton County Dive/Rescue Team and the Minnesota State Patrol's air unit helped with the search.
