Parkers Prairie man injured in car accidentPARKERS PRAIRIE, Minn. – A Parkers Prairie man is still in the hospital after a car accident Thursday night.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol report, 28-year-old Dustin Stephan was traveling westbound on Highway 235 at approximately 9:18 p.m. when he drove off the road and into the ditch.
The car struck an embankment and rolled several times before coming to a stop on its roof.
Stephan was not wearing a seat belt and had to be extricated from the vehicle, the report said.
He was transported by helicopter to St. Cloud Hospital. An attendant there said Stephan was still in the hospital late Saturday afternoon.
According to the report, Stephan had allegedly been drinking, and a blood test was obtained. The driver has two previous DUIs on his record.
No one else was hurt in the accident.
