Weekend Watch: Indigenous, Los Lonely Boys and Paul Rodgers
July Fourth is usually marked by loud fireworks. This year it will be loud rock ringing in Independence Day at Dakota Magic Casino, Hankinson, N.D. South Dakota’s own blues-rock group Indigenous fires things up at 2 p.m. At 5, power-pop blues trio Los Lonely Boys takes the stage. Classic rocker Paul Rodgers – formerly of Bad Company – brings the vocal firepower at 8 p.m. with his classics like “All Right Now,” “Feel Like Making Love” and “Bad Company.” Tickets are $30 in advance and $40 the day of the show.
