Small Business Administration to begin operations Monday at Federal Disaster Center in MinotMINOT, N.D. – A U.S. Small Business Administration help center will begin operations Monday at the Federal Disaster Center, along with FEMA, the Red Cross and other federal agencies.
Federal and state agencies also are working to establish a Federal Disaster Center in Bismarck, Sen. John Hoeven, R-N.D. announced today.
“We’re working hard to make programs like this available to help people not only with the flood fight, but also with the recovery,” Hoeven said in a statement.
Meanwhile, people can call and register with FEMA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, by calling 1-800-621-FEMA.
SBA provides low-interest disaster loans to homeowners, renters, businesses of all sizes, and private non-profit organizations to repair or replace real estate, personal property, machinery and equipment, inventory and business assets that have been damaged or destroyed in a declared disaster.
