St. Paul administrator approved as MSCTC interim presidentST. PAUL – Peggy Kennedy has been appointed interim president of Minnesota State Community and Technical College.
The Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system approved her appointment today based on a recommendation from the chancellor.
Kennedy is senior vice president for academic affairs and student development at St. Paul College, where she has worked for 26 years.
She will serve a one-year appointment following the resignation of MSCTC President Ann Valentine, who accepted a job in Indiana.
Kennedy said in a statement that she is “truly honored” to be chosen as the interim president.
“I look forward to working with the students, faculty, staff and communities in Detroit Lakes, Fergus Falls, Moorhead and Wadena,” Kennedy said.
