‘Come Home to Atlanta’ celebration set in UlenULEN, Minn. – The annual “Come Home to Atlanta” worship service here will be held at noon, Aug. 21.
Choir practice starts at 11 a.m. with hymn sing for everyone starting at 11:30. The Rev. Jill Steichen presides over the noon worship service.
Coffee will be available at 11 a.m. for those who want to visit and a fellowship potluck dinner follows the service.
Atlanta Lutheran Church closed several years ago, though the annual “Come Home to Atlanta” has recently been held in conjunction with the annual Ulen Turkey Barbecue.
The church is located six miles east of town and three-quarter mile north.
