Webcams provide view of Missouri River floodingAssociated Press
BISMARCK, N.D. - The city of Bismarck has set up two webcams to provide a glimpse of the flooding Missouri River.
City spokeswoman Jody Kerzman says one of the webcams is set up at Bismarck's Dakota Zoo.
Another provides a view of Riverwood Drive, which is along the Missouri's east bank in Bismarck.
Authorities say the webcams will give curious people a look at the flooding without having to drive near flooded areas to see the river. Officials say traffic from gawkers can slow down essential traffic.
The webcams are accessible from the city of Bismarck's main Web page at http://www.bismarck.org/
