In Fargo, felt like a champion

The Fargo Marathon was my first-ever attempt to compete in virtually anything. Completing the half-marathon was an accomplishment I’ll always remember.

Although I’m not a runner, but rather a race walker (with a relatively slow time), I appreciate the fact that Fargo allowed walkers to compete in a world-class event. At 58 years old, I have developed a new passion and hope to compete in other races.

Thank you for a wonderful experience and a life-changing opportunity.

Many thanks to the wonderful volunteers who made me feel like a champion.
