Sex offenders relocate to new Fargo residences

FARGO - Police here advised residents Tuesday of new residences for three sex offenders living in the city:

- Leslie Allen Lunstad, 56, has moved to 1122 2nd Ave. S. Apt. 9.

He, a high-risk offender, was convicted of surreptitious intrusion for window-peeping in 2000 in North Dakota’s Morton County District Court.

Before that Lunstad was convicted of two counts of surreptitious intrusion in 1998 in Montana’s Richland County District Court. He also has a 1993 conviction for assault, also in Montana.

Lunstad is a lifetime registrant.

- Matthew Charles Hertel has moved from West Fargo to 1345, 4th Ave. S. in Fargo.

Hertel, a moderate-risk offender, was convicted in 2007 in Cass County for soliciting a minor, under the age of 15.

Hertel is required to register as a sex offender until Aug. 17, 2032.

- Ellric Alfred Giroux has moved to 906 12th St. N. in Fargo.

Giroux, also a moderate-risk offender, was convicted in 1998 in Richland County, N.D., for gross sexual imposition.

His victim was a female acquaintance under the age of 15. Giroux is required to register as a sex offender until March 21, 2024.
