Governor, other state officials touring flood response in Lisbon todayLISBON, N.D. (AP) — Gov. Jack Dalrymple and other state officials were touring the flooding in the Lisbon area in southeast North Dakota today.
A public meeting also was being held in the Ransom County Courthouse to provide updates on the response to Sheyenne River flooding.
State Transportation officials on Thursday closed N.D. Highway 27 in the Lisbon area so crews could build an earthen levee for flood protection.
