Guard mission to end in Moorhead, Oakport Township and GeorgetownMOORHEAD - The National Guard mission in Moorhead will deactivate at noon today, according to a release from the Clay County Sheriff's Office.
The Guard mission will also deactivate at 6 pm today in Oakport Township and Georgetown, but the Sheriff's Office have resources in Georgetown during the day on Friday.
Clay County Sheriff Bill Bergquist also announced that the Clay County Emergency Operations Center will be shutting down at at 6 p.m. today. He said the county will be running the rest of the flood fight through its regular phone numbers.
In his release, Bergquist reminded residents that Highway 75 at Georgetown is still shut down to through traffic because of a levee on Highway 75.
