Oak Grove to move 6-12th grade classesFARGO – Oak Grove Lutheran School will relocate classes for grades six through 12 to First Lutheran Church in Fargo starting Monday due to high flood levels on the Red River, school officials announced today.
The latest reading of the Red was 32.63 feet in Fargo at 5:15 p.m. The National Weather Service forecasts the river will reach 39.5 to 41 feet by Sunday.
Oak Grove’s elementary school will operate as normal.
Oak Grove will bus all students to First Lutheran Church from Hope Lutheran Church’s north and south campus to ease parking and traffic issues around the church. Students will have a modified class schedule and are to bring their lunch daily.
