UPDATED: Fargo earns final in "America's Toughest Weather City Tournament;" voting for finals begins today

By a margin of more than three-to-one, Fargo marched past Juneau, Alaska, for a chance at the dubious title of "America's Toughest Weather City."

Voting for the finals opened at 11 a.m. today.

"Both Bradford, Pa. and Fargo, N.D. steamrolled through their 'Final Four' opponents in impressive fashion to set up a cold-weather championship showdown," according to the website for the Weather Channel, which has been hosting the competition.

Fargo bested (or perhaps "worsted") Juneau, garnering 17,084 votes to the Alaska city's 5,018.

Voting for the finals continues through early Friday.
