UPDATED: Fargo man identified after head-on crash south of Moorhead leaves him in critical conditionMOORHEAD – The victim of a head-on collision this morning with a semitrailer hauling liquid fertilizer on Highway 75 has been identified.
Myles Bosch, 48, of Fargo, remains in critical condition, authorities said.
The crash occurred just before noon, about eight miles south of Moorhead, Minnesota State Patrol Sgt. Jesse Grabow said.
Bosch was extricated from the 2011 Chevy HHR wagon he had been driving north, and airlifted by LifeFlight helicopter to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo.
The driver of a southbound semi, Terrance Keaveny, 62, from Wahpeton, N.D., was not injured, Grabow said.
It’s unknown which vehicle crossed the centerline, Grabow said, noting the crash was still under investigation. Road conditions on the two-lane, 55-mph paved highway were clear and dry with good visibility, he said.
No fertilizer leaked from the tanker truck, Grabow said, adding the patrol will follow its normal policy and do a commercial vehicle inspection.
Also responding to the crash were the Clay County Sheriff‘s Office, Moorhead Fire Department, Sabin Fire and Rescue and F-M Ambulance.
