Ask your government: Who’s responsible for Highway 22 construction?

Dear Teri, Highway 22 runs right through the middle of Dickinson. The highway always gets resurfaced from 12th Street to the northern edge and has been resurfaced on the southern edge for a few miles. But who is responsible for the highway through the rest of town? The state, county, city or all of them at a certain percentage of the cost. All that ever happens is the potholes get fixed eventually each spring/summer. With houses and yards so close to the highway, how does it get widened or can’t it? Jeanne Corey DickinsonWord count: 540
