Air search suspended for missing Lisbon man

LISBON, N.D. – The air search for a missing North Dakota man has been suspended.

Lisbon Police Chief Jeanette Persons tells KFGO radio that the Civil Air Patrol made the decision after a full day of searching Friday for 78-year-old Leon Weight.

Weight is a retired farmer who lives at the North Dakota Veterans Home in Lisbon. He was last seen Feb. 17 driving on U.S. Highway 281 near Edgeley.

Persons is asking the public to be on the lookout for Weight’s car, a 1991 Red Pontiac Grand Prix.
