Pancake lovers pack Fargodome for annual Kiwanis Pancake Karnival
Organizers expect volunteers to be busy until the Karnival ends 7 p.m.
Event Coordinator Craig Tait said 3,500 pancakes had been served by 10:30 a.m. He expects those high numbers to continue throughout the day. Tait also said he expects to serve a total of 14,000 people this year.
Along with pancakes, people can enjoy sausage, orange juice and a hot cup of coffee. Those in attendance can also enjoy friendly conversation while listening to live piano accompaniment, compliments of Schmitt Music.
Kids can enjoy door prizes and inflatable bouncing toys.
