Uncle Kracker slated to perform at this summer's Red River Valley Fair

The Red River Valley Fair has revealed its final grandstand act for this summer, posting on its Facebook page that the pop/country crossover artist Uncle Kracker who will play the West Fargo fairgrounds on July 12.

Uncle Kracker started his career as a DJ for Kid Rock before releasing his solo records marked by hits like “Follow Me” and “Smile.”

The RRVF kicks off July 8 with Little Big Town and Jason Jones and runs through July 16. Rock bands Finger Eleven plays July 9, Trailer Choir July 11 and My Darkest Days and Sick Puppies play July 15.

An act that canceled last year’s show, LoCash Cowboys, plays July 10, according to its website and touring industry website, www.pollstar.com, lists Jason Michael Caroll playing that date as well.

Stock car racing is scheduled for July 13.

All grandstand shows are free with gate admission.
