Berg favors party over ND people

Rep. Rick Berg, R-N.D., who has been in Washington this month, started to work as an insider for Speaker John Boehner, Majority Leader Eric Cantor and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. Voting against health care reform means to prioritize the Republicans’ interests over our interests. Berg is in Washington not for the Republican leaders and insurance companies, but for us.

We no longer can afford to be discriminated against based on pre-existing conditions. This is one of the real interests of North Dakotans despite the fact that he did not get it. He is voting against our interests, and we cannot afford to be the victim of his mess.

He had to vote against the health care repeal, but he still has the time to learn. If he repeats this type of mistake again, then we need someone who will represent our interests over his party’s interests.
