Tveidt gets hot and Bison break losing streak with win over Southern UtahFARGO - Michael Tveidt thawed out, and so did the North Dakota State men’s basketball team on Thursday night.
Tveidt had 27 points in his best game in three weeks leading the Bison over Southern Utah. The 87-75 victory before 2,221 fans at the Bison Sports Arena broke a four-game losing streak and improved NDSU to 4-6 in the Summit.
Tveidt came in hitting just 13 of 42 field goals in his last four games. He looked more in the flow against the Thunderbirds hitting 11 of 18 shots.
Tveidt’s 3-pointer and Taylor Braun’s 10-footer gave the Bison their largest lead of the game at 76-64 with 5:03 remaining.
Moments later, another Tveidt trey made it 79-66.
