North Dakotans will miss ConradI will miss Sen. Kent Conrad, D-N.D. Year after year, he held hundreds of public meetings in every corner of the state. He knows us. He knows our concerns and garnered attention for those concerns in the halls of power in Washington.
There are so many essential farm projects, water projects, law enforcement officers and facilities, health clinics and schools that are the result of the efforts of Conrad and have thrived under his leadership. Sadly, Conrad will not seek re-election in 2012. I will be sad to see him go.
We all owe an enormous debt of gratitude to Conrad. He is a great public servant.
