High Plains Fugitive Task Force seizes 100th fugitive since inceptionFARGO – Members of a task force among local, state and federal law enforcement have captured 100 fugitives since the group was first launched in November.
The High Plains Fugitive Task Force includes officers from the U.S. Marshals Service, Cass County Sheriff’s Office, North Dakota Parole and Probation and North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
The task force has cleared 156 warrants since the cooperative effort began, according to a Marshals Service news release.
The task force has captured felons wanted on various charges, including gross sexual imposition, escaping federal custody, criminal trespass and many drug-related crimes.
